How to play
Every week you pick eight NFL players. Whoever's eight score the most fantasy points that week wins the pot. Entry is €5, and the pot splits 60 / 30 / 10 between the top three.
The catch is that you can't just take the eight best players. Picks are constrained by how highly each player is ranked, so a good coupon means finding value further down the lists.
The week runs Wednesday to Tuesday
| Wednesday | Rankings are published and you get an email with your personal link. The coupon opens. |
|---|---|
| First kickoff | Everything locks. No submissions, no edits. |
| Sunday, Monday | Games are played. Everyone's coupons become visible now that nobody can copy. |
| Tuesday | Scores are calculated, the table goes out, and Kevin settles up. |
Your link is your identity
There's no password and no login screen. The link in your weekly email is personal to you: it opens your coupon, and it's the only way to submit one. Nobody else can see your picks before the deadline, and you can't see theirs.
So keep it to yourself. Anyone with your link can submit as you. If you lose it or send it to the wrong person, ask Kevin to issue a new one and the old link stops working immediately.
Filling in the eight slots
| QB1, QB2 | Two quarterbacks |
|---|---|
| RB1, RB2 | Two running backs |
| WR1, WR2 | Two wide receivers |
| TE | One tight end |
| FLEX | One more running back or one more wide receiver. Fill exactly one of the two FLEX slots, never both. |
Each dropdown shows players ranked by projected points for that week, so
RB1 - Jahmyr Gibbs is the top-projected running back. The tag after
each name is the player's bracket.
Brackets are what make it hard
Every player sits in a bracket based on their rank at their position:
1-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 or
21+. Six rules govern how you can combine them.
How many stars you can take
- At most two players from bracket
1-5. - At most four from
1-5and6-10together. - At most six from
1-5,6-10and11-15together.
The third rule means at least two of your eight picks must come from
16-20 or 21+.
How your picks must differ from each other
- Your two QBs must be in different brackets. Same for your two RBs, and your two WRs.
- Your FLEX must be in a different bracket from both starters at that position. A FLEX running back can't share a bracket with RB1 or RB2.
- No player twice.
An example
Say you take the top-projected quarterback, QB1, in bracket
1-5. Your second quarterback now has to come from another bracket,
and you have only one slot left in 1-5 for the whole coupon. Spend
it on WR1 and every remaining pick — both running backs, your
second receiver, your tight end and your flex — has to come from
6-10 or worse.
You don't have to work any of this out yourself. The coupon checks your picks as you make them and tells you which rule you've broken, so you can build the team by trial and error. It won't let you submit an illegal one.
Scoring is full PPR
A reception is worth a point, on top of the usual yardage and touchdown scoring. Your total is the sum of your eight players. Highest total wins; if two coupons tie, the one with the higher single-player score takes it.
A player who doesn't play scores nothing, and there are no substitutes, so check the injury news before the deadline. Negative scores happen — a quarterback throwing interceptions can finish below zero.
Where to look
- Coupon — make and edit your picks until the deadline.
- Entries — everyone's coupons, once the week has locked.
- Results — the week's table, with a player-by-player breakdown of each coupon.
- Standings — the season so far: points, weekly finishes, what you've paid in and what you've won.
The money is handled offline
The app tracks who paid in and who won, and nothing else. Kevin collects the €5 and pays out the top three. Take any question about money to him.
Getting to your coupon
Your coupon lives behind a personal link that arrives by email every Wednesday — search your email for “NFL coupon”. Bookmark the page once you're there and you won't need the email again. Lost it, or think someone else has seen it? Ask Kevin for a replacement; the old link stops working the moment he issues a new one.
